SHINGLE HOUSE

This ADSDF Architects project epitomises a sensitive and contemporary intervention into historic conservation area of Woodhall Spa, a victorian spa town in Lincolnshire. The materials and massing compliment the large dwelling originally designed by Architect Adolphus Came in the mid 19th century. The new extension is north facing and optimises the daylight into the deep plan of the house. The concept for the project is to connect to the garden and create a dramatic contrast to the existing house internally.
